SKINØ (operated by ScandiSocialPro, hereinafter "we", "us" or "SKINØ") values your privacy. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect your personal data when you visit our website skinosverige.se, use our services or purchase our skincare products.
We are the data controller for the processing of your personal data.
Our online shop runs on Shopify, which acts as a data processor for certain parts of the processing. For more information on how Shopify handles personal data, see Shopify's privacy policy. You can exercise your rights towards Shopify via Shopify's privacy portal.
This policy applies when you use our website or services. We comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Swedish legislation.
Personal data we collect
We collect the following categories of personal data:
- Contact details: name, email address, phone number, delivery and billing address.
- Payment information: payment method and transaction details. We never store full card details; payments are handled securely by our payment providers.
- Account information: username, encrypted password and preferences.
- Transaction information: products purchased, order history and returns.

- Communication: the content of emails and support requests.
How we collect data
- Directly from you, when you make a purchase, create an account or subscribe to our newsletter.

- From third parties, such as Shopify, payment providers (e.g. Klarna and Stripe) and shipping companies (e.g. PostNord, DHL and Fedex).
Purposes and legal bases for processing
We only process personal data for specific purposes and with a legal basis under Article 6 GDPR:
- Performing a contract (processing orders, delivery and returns). Legal basis: contract.
- Marketing (newsletters and personalised offers). Legal basis: consent or legitimate interest.
- Analysing and improving the website (e.g. Google Analytics). Legal basis: consent, given via our cookie banner.

All our data processors are bound by written data processing agreements that require them to handle your data securely and lawfully, in accordance with the GDPR.
Sharing of personal data

- With Shopify and its sub-processors (payments, shipping and analytics).
- With shipping companies, to deliver your order.
- When required by law, for example with public authorities.
We never sell your personal data.
With your consent, we share data with Google (Google Analytics, Google Ads and Google Merchant Center) to understand how visitors use our website and to show relevant advertising. Analytics and marketing cookies are only placed after you have accepted them in our cookie banner.
International transfers
Personal data may be transferred outside the EU/EEA, for example to Shopify in Canada and the USA. Such transfers are based on an adequacy decision from the European Commission or on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), in accordance with Chapter V GDPR.

We use cookies that are necessary for the website to function and load quickly, as well as analytics and marketing cookies. Analytics and marketing cookies are only used if you consent to them. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via our cookie banner or your browser settings.
Storage period
We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which it was collected, or until you ask us to delete it. Accounting records, including order information, are kept for seven years as required by the Swedish Bookkeeping Act (Bokföringslagen).

You have the right to:

- Have your data corrected or erased ("the right to be forgotten").
- Restrict or object to processing.
- Data portability (receive your data in a machine-readable format).
- Withdraw your consent at any time.
- Not be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing.

Security

Our online shop is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

We may update this policy. If we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or on our website.
